In response to your popular demand of our women in tech and diversity in tech events, we now have monthly Diversity & Women in Tech events! You’ll have deeper experiences with monthly opportunities to connect to your peers, mentors, and influencers leading the way on building a more inclusive Seattle tech community.
It’s no secret, companies with more diversity, whether it’s racial, ethnic, or gender, perform better than those with less. We’re excited to invite you to learn about the difficulties, successes, and benefits of diversity in the tech industry, and what we can all do to ensure opportunities are available for all of us, and make diversity the standard, not the exception.
Join us to discover the people, organizations and ideas that are building inclusion in your Seattle tech community from startups to enterprise companies like Microsoft, ebay, Amazon and more. Come enjoy fun, light appetizers, beer, wine, great people and an interview with a DEI leader in your community!

Community connections; asks, offers and more
AWIP was founded in 2017 to address the gaps we saw in tech management roles that were filled by women and other underrepresented groups. As an organization, we believe that this gap largely exists due to lack of targeted skills-based training as well as executive mentorship. AWIP intends to empower women and other underrepresented groups to advance their careers to become product and technical leaders.
