Burnout is that extreme fatigue that happens when you dont take time to rest and it is much more prevalent among those with ADHD. In this meetup we will discuss strategies to prevent burnout..

During the Meetups, we share personal and professional struggles as well as systems and strategies to overcome your executive functioning and working memory challenges like anxiety, overwhelm, miscommunication, interrupting, inattentiveness, stress, distractibility, procrastination, paperwork fails, imposter syndrome, having to mask your neurodivergence at work, and weak organization skills. Welcome!
One in five adults is neurodiverse and one in twenty have ADHD. In the tech industry, these numbers are even higher.
Unfortunately, most business cultures are not very neurodiverse-friendly because neurotypical folks have not been educated on what it’s like to live with our faster-than-normal brains, rejection-sensitive dysphoria, low executive function, low working memory, low dopamine, and low serotonin.
In these virtual Meetups we explore how you can better explain neurodiversity to your loved ones and coworkers to bridge this education gap. The better you are at sharing what it’s like from your brain’s perspective, the less time you’ll spend being frustrated, disappointed, and defensive at work and home.
Maybe you’re undiagnosed but experience ADHD symptoms. While there is no replacement for a professional diagnosis from a licensed expert, if any of this feels familiar, you can take this test to assess whether you might have ADHD.

Our monthly virtual meetups are designed to foster collaboration and support within our ADHD tech community. Anyone working in tech who is seeking ADHD support is invited to join us.

“I didn’t find out that I had ADHD until I was 51. Getting that diagnosis put a lot of things in perspective for me as someone who has been starting SAAS companies for 20 years.
