Speakers

Jason Cavness, Founder & CEO, CavnessHR

Jason is a retired U.S. Army Officer who is an INFJ HR Professional transforming how HR is delivered to companies with 49 or fewer employees. He hosts The Jason Cavness Experience, where I talk to small business owners, founders and other interesting people.

Maria Petrova, Seattle Center Lead, AWS Skills Center

Maria has been with AWS for over seven years and currently leading the AWS Skills Center in Seattle. She works very closely with all training programs across the organization and specifically those focused on upskilling, reskilling and helping those who are willing and looking for a change in career, learn about the cloud or do not have access to higher educational institution. She is also responsible for the day-to-day operations at the center. Most of her efforts are targeted towards bringing awareness to the Seattle community, working with non-profit organizations and connecting current and future AWS customers to different training opportunities.
