Cyber Security | Technical Writing

§    Wrote procedure to configure media equipment with IP address, subnet mask and default gateway.

§    Developing a project that shows the difference in authentication systems of Kerberos, TACAS and RADIUS.  Posting updates on my project to Linkedin to educate my cyber security colleagues.

§    Produced YouTube channel for building a virtual network with domain controller, file server and client.

 

 

Engineering Design | Technical Writing

§    Remote monitoring system for a navigational aid required by FAA would cost over $100,000.  Designed the circuit for my team’s monitoring system and saved the agency $80,000.

§    Navigation aid system at FAA needed to be expanded, but documentation did not include instructions for adding indicators.  Researched system to determine how it operated and wrote the procedure for adding indicators.  Rewired system in order to meet specifications for input impedance of 1500 ohms.

§    Instructions for aligning new transmitters at FAA were difficult to follow. Researched the transmitter tuning function and discovered and documented a procedure that reduced the alignment time by 50%.

 

 

Teaching | Curriculum Development

§    Taught Chinese class of introductory through advanced level in an International Baccalaureate school setting. Created classes in Finance and Auditing from ground zero. Developed and delivered curriculum focusing on international economics, auditing, economics for technologists, financial statement analysis, capital budgeting, and organizational behavior.

§    Created and presented detailed PowerPoint briefings for FAA managers on “International Aircraft Radio Systems and Air Routes” as part of nine-month leadership program.
