Jack Pilcher

I am an ambitious, resolute and hard working person. I hope this comes through in my determination to start a ‘disruptive’ company by myself in an area which is extremely competitive. In these past several months I have been working entrepreneurial hours, in the main with a smile on my face and a spring in my step, showing my ability to carry on striving for my best in testing circumstances. Some of my top qualities are my skills of research, analysis, communication and sales however my strongest attribute is my ability to look at a problem/inefficiency in a fresh light and move forward with the answer. The part about my role at 1624 I enjoyed the most was researching a topic, tracking down the people that I wanted to speak to and convincing them to give up time out of their extremely busy schedules to do an interview with a media outlet with a relatively small reach. Another part of my personality is the drive to learn and develop new skills. Examples of this are teaching myself to edit the podcast, photos and video without having done anything like that before and not being from a technical background. I wholeheartedly believe that in such an ever changing world as today everybody should buy into a growth mentality, never stop learning and trying new things. Whilst my skills lie in more analytical and communicative areas I am really keen to develop my technical knowledge and ability, to be both a well rounded employee and person.
