Surplus Connection (2015) – surplusconnection.herokuapp.com

  • Connects nonprofits with donors of surplus goods and shipping space
  • Built from concept to completion in four days by a team of four
  • Uses AngularJS, Sass, Bourbon, Neat, and MongoDB
  • I implemented the AngularJS data binding, templates, and controllers used throughout the app
  • I contributed to the style and layout of the site using Sass and Neat

  • Provides users with travel inspiration in photos and articles
  • Built from concept to completion in one week by a three person team
  • Uses the Flickr API, the WikiVoyage API, Skeleton grid, bxSlider, and Firebase
  • I implemented the Flickr and mediawiki APIs to search for photos and articles
  • I used bxSlider to display the photo search results and Skeleton grid for layout
