Hello everyone of the New Tech Northwest Family,
My name is Anousha and I am on the Programming Team of TechTogether Seattle.
I am reaching to non-binary individuals and women within the tech field, with the hopes that you would be interested in hosting a workshop for a virtual hackathon we are conducting from January 22nd – January 24th.
We wish to provide hands-on activity for our participants to learn new skills through experiential learning. By hosting a workshop, you will not only promote your company and potentially hire new employees, but also help foster a community of talented women, femme, and non-binary individuals in the tech industry.
This year, our focus for the event is staying connected while we’re physically apart (“Always Together, Never Apart”). Since your organization is focused on inclusivity in tech, we were wondering if any of you were interested in hosting any of the following workshops:
– Intro to Resume and Technical Interview Workshop
– Intro to GitHub
– Intro to Android app development (ANDROID STUDIO)
– Make your first-ever IOS app (SWIFT)
– Using APIs: How to Build a Chat
– Intro to Game Development
– Build a project with AI/Machine Learning
– Intro to Web Development (HTML CSS/JavaScript)
– Intro to UI/UX
– Intro to Python (build something)
– Intro to Cybersecurity workshop
– Intro to AR/VR Workshop
– Intro to Cloud Computing
– Interview Preparation Workshop
– How to Fund Your Idea – Pitching Selling your Idea (for any entrepreneurs in Technology)
– How to Build a Website with React.js
Our team will work closely with you to organize and plan appropriately. You can find more about us more through our website (which will be provided by the ‘learn more link’).
If you’re interested, please the form attached below and let me know when you are available in the coming weeks, and we can set up a Google Hangouts call! You can also contact us via the email address provided under ‘Contact information’.

We’re ready to kick off 2021 answering your most burning questions about early stage startup growth & investment. Like what really happens behind the velvet curtain of VC once you wrap your pitch? If an investor says “we’re very interested, but not going to participate right now”, how should a founder interpret this? Valuations – art or science? How do I create fomo for my round? How do I build an inclusive culture from day 1 and can it really help grow my company? What impact does it have if my co-founder(s) and I part ways? Are accelerators still a good choice these days and what do the big strategics like AWS, Google and MS offer startups? When do I walk away from an investment offer, a customer, or possibly even my startup? What about Advisors – are they necessary at pre-seed / seed stage, how should equity or pay be allocated, how do I divest myself of a poor Advisor?
We’ll be getting candid in this fireside chat. Come join us!

Join our community, virtually, in celebrating the accomplishments of our 401 graduates while also getting an exclusive look at the projects that are created during a week-long development sprint. The group presentations will give you a great sense of the stories and backgrounds of the graduates coming out of Code Fellows, while also providing insights into the skill sets gained over the past 10 weeks. In just 5 days, these students plan, build, and launch an MVP to demonstrate their development capabilities.
There is no better way to be part of our community while also gaining early access to the talent from our program than joining this event (once registered, the link can be located under “Addition Information” in your confirmation email)
