Dedipya Laidlaw is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in Technical Product Development and Strategy, specializing in immersive technology applications and AI/ML. She has a proven track record of working closely with enterprise and Fortune 500 companies across various sectors. Previously, she spearheaded Valorem’s largest immersive engagement, revolutionizing customer interactions through innovative AR/VR integration and rapid prototyping. She is now leveraging this vast experience in her current role, pioneering transformative solutions in the hospitality sector.

​Eraj Jayawickreme, Co-Founder, Karya Solutions

Over the past 30 years Eraj has worked in some of the most renowned restaurants and hotels in North America. He has had the opportunity to open and run his own restaurant. With a unique interpretation of the “Modern” kitchen focusing on organization, discipline and being team oriented Eraj is able to nurture talent and passion out of young and mature employees. Eraj pulls off classic flavours with grace, intelligence and admirable lightness of touch. He currently holds the Director of Culinary position at the Fairmont Olympic in Seattle overseeing over $25m in revenue and over 120 employees and 15 managers.

​Jason Schwartz, Vice President of Strategy and Founder, Ecellix

Jason serves as the Vice President of Strategy and Founder at Ecellix, where he spearheads the company’s strategic initiatives and partnership development. He is a 3rd-generation entrepreneur, winner of national business plan competitions, and an experienced project leader. During his tenure at Washington State University, Jason led a pioneering project team focused on innovative battery materials research, laying the groundwork for what would evolve into eCell’s cutting-edge anode materials. His instrumental role in securing grant funding propelled the technology forward, ultimately catalyzing the establishment of Ecellix Inc. Jason’s strategic vision led to the recruitment of a seasoned CEO to succeed him, igniting third-party investment and fostering the growth of a world-class leadership team, board, and advisory network. With over six years of operation, Ecellix boasts a team of 15 dedicated professionals and has raised over $10 million to date, advancing the development of next-generation silicon battery materials. Prior to working with Ecellix, Jason had worked with Congressman Adam Smith and Aegis Engineering. Jason graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business, specializing in Economics, Communication, and Entrepreneurship.

Kate Tamera, Founder, Euphoria

Kate is a seasoned product designer with a prolific track record that converges at the intersection of technology, design, and social impact. She was named one of America’s Greatest Disruptors by Newsweek (2021), is an Inaugural Member of the AWS Impact Accelerator For Women Founders (2022), a Halcyon Fellow (2021-2023), a Rock Health Fellow (2021), and a Cedar-Sinai Accelerator Cohort 15 (2021) participant. Kate is a former TEDx speaker (2018) and was recognized as one of Puget Sound Business Journal’s Outstanding Voices (2023), one of Go Magazine’s 100 Women We Love (2020), an inaugural Stylus Changemaker (2020), and the Crowdbotics’ Social Impact Award winner (2021). She is a proud woman who happens to be intersex.
